Nipple/areola tattooing is often the final step after breast reconstruction. This is an amazing way of helping to improve the appearance and self esteem of women who have undergone breast reconstruction surgery. The procedure is done by implanting pigment (ink) into the nipple/areola area. A topical anesthetic is usually applied for your comfort. We offer free consultations. Color, shape, size and position will be discussed until you feel comfortable with the choices. After care instructions will be given and should be followed for the best results. It usually takes about 7-10 days to heal and a follow up visit may be required. Many clients (who are breast cancer survivors) have said that after their procedures are completed, they feel as if they have crossed the finish line in their healing process.
